Therapy with Craig
Welcome! I’m glad you’ve found us. Seeking support can often be a journey that’s challenging and overwhelming, and exciting and hopeful. I work with older adolescents and adults as they navigate the changes, challenges, and complexities of their individual and relational lives.
As clients begin therapy with me, they often find themselves navigating significant life events, transitions, and overwhelming or complex seasons of life. They seek support in managing a range of challenges, from anxiety, stress, and depression to trauma and grief. Many are also addressing long-standing patterns or areas they've been meaning to explore, all while prioritizing their well-being amidst life's stresses. Therapy with me is intended to be a space for clients to express themselves openly and to better understand and care for themselves.
Here, LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and those exploring their experiences are supported and affirmed. I often work with individuals navigating questions and concerns related to sexuality, including exploring identity, attraction, intimacy, and experiences. Furthermore, some clients benefit from therapeutic discussions on specific topics such as sexual health, satisfaction, pleasure, interests, fears, habits, and behaviors. These conversations are conducted with sensitivity, respect, and a focus on well-being as a whole person.
Grounded and guided by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I prioritize flexibility, mindfulness, and compassion to facilitate healing, growth, and change. Stylistically, I rely on exploration and collaboration over strict structure, aiming for clients to experience empowerment by applying their insights in their daily lives.
